Linda Boyd Flute and Piccolo |
|
| This charming and talented lady began her professional career in Houston, Texas. As a member of the Houston Ballet Orchestra and the Houston Grand Opera's National touring Company, she also performed regularly with the Houston Symphony Orchestra and Houston Grand Opera. Our Ms Boyd now continues her performing career in New York City where she is principal flute with the New York Festival Symphony Orchestra and has performed several times as a soloist with that orchestra. She has also played with the Lake George Opera Festival Orchestra, New York Virtuosi, and Trans-Atlantic Winds, among others. She is quite busy as a chamber musician and solo recitalist. In addition to her performing, Linda is very much sought after as a teacher of flute, having many students who have received acclaim in contests, classes, competitions, and scholarships to music schools and conservatories. We are so pleased as Linda begins her seventh year with us. | ||
